Clinical Pilates
Most people will find Pilates fantastic, not only for conditioning the body, but also for improving coordination, flexibility and muscle stability control.
Clinical Pilates is particularly helpful for active people, recreational sportspeople and athletes. Less active office staff who spend long hours sitting at a desk will also benefit through the relief of neck pain, shoulder stiffness and back aches.
If you are injured or had a previous history of injury, Clinical Pilates is essential for your rehabilitation before attempting Pilates with an instructor or in a class environment. Clinical Pilates is only instructed by a qualified physiotherapist, and includes an initial assessment to understand your individual needs and goals before the first lesson.
If you are at a greater risk of hurting yourself during exercise sessions, or need a little longer to learn the basics of moving safely, an initial course of Clinical Pilates will give you a solid and safe grounding before starting Fitness Pilates and Gym work.
